Junior USWNT Staff Names U-16 & U-18 National Teams and 2025 Tour Rosters

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a 3-day training camp this past weekend in Charlotte, N.C., the Junior U.S. Women’s National Team coaches have named the 2025 U.S. U-16 and U-18 Women’s National Teams and selected majority of the tour rosters for the U-16 and U-18 squads traveling to Europe in April. All athletes named to the U-16 or U-18 USWNT will attend the next training camp from March 21 to 23, 2025 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Simultaneous Team and Tour Roster Announcement
After winter weather canceled the U-16/U-18 January Camp, selection to the 2025 U-16 and U-18 USWNT and the naming of the 2025 tour rosters was announced simultaneously. The U-16 and U-18 National Squads consist of the athletes selected to go on tour plus the athletes selected as tour alternates.
U-16 Tour Details
The U-16 travel roster will be led on tour by U-16 Head Coach Tamara Durante, with assistant coaches Alan Good and Hannah Prince. They will play four to five games at HOD Valkenswaard in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, against the U-15 national teams from all across Europe. The game schedule will be released as soon as it’s received from tournament organizers. The team will be on tour from April 14 to 22, 2025.
“This second stage of the U-16 USWNT selection process was highly competitive, making decisions extremely difficult,” added Durante. “The selected group displayed not just skill but drive, discipline, and determination and that is what set them apart.”

The March camp will be another chance to earn a spot on the travel roster. To those not selected, your commitment and perseverance matter. Keep striving for excellence.”
The 2025 U-16 USWNT consists of 16 athletes who have also been selected to the tour roster. The tour roster has six field player spots open that will be filled after the March Camp.
